Hong Kong U3A – Care Food Workshop

Last Friday, the Care Food Working Group, in collaboration with HKCSS's Service Development (Elderly Services), organized two Care Food workshops for participants of the University of the Third Age (Hong Kong U3A) "Smart Power Ambassadors Training Programme". The workshops featured educational sessions by the Care Food Working Group on swallowing difficulties and Care Food, as well as interactive cooking demonstrations by Chef Johnson Lo, CEO and Executive Chef of KOLB LIFE and Care Food Star Ambassador, who taught participants how to prepare Care Food using common household appliances.

The goal was to enhance awareness of Care Food and elderly-friendly technology, empowering attendees to help themselves or their loved ones to enjoy "safe and enjoyable meals".

The U3A participants enthusiastically engaged in cooking and tasting Care Food dishes. Following the workshop, these ambassadors will join activities focused on "medical care," "housing," and "mobility", applying their knowledge to benefit their communities.
