Care Food Cooking Competition 2025 is available for application now!🎉

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service is organising the 7th Care Food Cooking Competition. The competition aims to demonstrate the ways to modify the favourite foods into Care Food for individuals with dysphagia (swallowing challenges), enabling them to enjoy their favourite dishes at home🍴.

This year, the competition is open to foreign domestic helpers, the participation and support from their employers are most welcome as well❤️!

✅ Target: Foreign domestic helpers

✅ Content: Under the theme “The Flavour of Memory”, you are required to submit a recipe and modify a dish favored by individuals with swallowing difficulties into a Care Food recipe after completing the training📝. The cooking methods are not restricted, and you should also share the story behind it. 📖

✅ Format: Workshops, pre-competition training, finals, and award ceremony🏅

✅ Deadline: 5:00 p.m., 6th July, 2025 📅

Rewards:

💰 Finalists: HKD 1,800 cash subsidy

🏆 “Home Chef Award”(All Finalists): German Pool Korean Detachable-Handle Pan & Pot Set (Value: HK$1,299)

🍲 Theme Prize: Food Processor worth HK$3,980

💼 Employer Incentive: Employers who nominated their domestic helpers will receive a “Proactive Employer Support” certificate and a cash allowance of HK$500 if their helper is shortlisted into the final round.
