Care Food Tasting & Sharing Session 🍽️😋

On October 14, the Care Food Working Group visited the Legislative Council to meet with members of the Welfare Services Panel, sharing insights on Care Food policies and hosting a tasting session. We were delighted that around 10 legislators attended the event. Apart from showcasing the development of Care Food in Hong Kong, we have also invited legislators to taste diverse Care Food meals, helping them understand the needs of people with swallowing difficulties.

In addition, we have discussed how businesses can help build a Care Food-friendly environment, shared international policies supporting individuals with swallowing difficulties and their caregivers, and introduced key content from the <Guideline of Care Food Standard>.

The Working Group looks forward to collaborating with more stakeholders to advance Care Food development, improve quality of life for those with swallowing difficulties and their caregivers, and expand community-based Care Food meal options.
