Popularization of 'Care Food' Creates Multi-Stakeholder Wins

Professor Kevin Au, Chairman of the HKCSS Care Food Working Group, discussed the popularization of Care Food in Hong Kong Economic Journal. With recent advancements, a major local fast-food chain has begun offering soft meals at select locations—a first for Hong Kong.
In driving Care Food development, HKCSS actively fosters cross-sector collaboration to realize a complete Care Food ecosystem. This engages government bodies, healthcare professionals, academic institutions, care homes & community service providers, suppliers & chefs, businesses and individuals with swallowing difficulties. Our goal is to progressively expand Care Food accessibility, reduce production costs and retail prices, and ultimately achieve "Care Food Around You" where everyone can "Eat with Joy."
