Earlier, the HKCSS Care Food Task Force participated in the filming of RTHK's documentary program "Hong Kong Connection: Better Dining for Seniors", which has now been officially broadcast!

This episode delves into how to make mealtimes enjoyable and satisfying for individuals with swallowing difficulties. It showcases the collaborative efforts of caregivers, nursing home chefs, and restaurants in providing texture-modified meals across different settings to enhance dining experiences for the elderly. The program also highlights HKCSS's initiatives, including the Care Food Community Carnival and Care Food Seed Restaurant Program's community banquets, demonstrating how cross-sector collaboration fosters the growth of a sustainable Care Food ecosystem.

Looking ahead, HKCSS will continue partnering with stakeholders to promote standardized Care Food practices and expand access to dysphagia-friendly meals in local restaurants, improving quality of life for those with swallowing challenges.
