Launching Event: <Care Food – Home Edition: A Comprehensive Guide for Caregivers of People with Swallowing Difficulty> 📣

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), in collaboration with the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society and the Drainage Services Department Volunteer Team, has produced <Care Food – Home Edition: A Comprehensive Guide for Caregivers of People with Swallowing Difficulty> ("the Guide"). The Guide features a series of educational videos that simplify essential knowledge with visual demonstrations, making it easier for caregivers to understand Care Food preparation. Building upon the <Guideline of Care Food Standard>, this resource offers a new channel for caregivers to understand Care Food.

The launching of the Guide will be held on November 22, 2024 (Friday)

at the Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit, at the Main Stage, Hall 1A-C, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The highlights of the event include the introduction to the Guide and Care Food cooking demonstration to deepen the understanding of Care Food. Visitors can also explore Care Food and elderly-friendly tech product booths for tastings.

The event's admission is free. Additionally, all attendees will receive a physical copy of the Guide and a special commemorative gift.
