HKU Care Food Cross-professional Collaboration Sharing

Updated: 2 days ago

Today, Ms Lo Wai-mun, Head of the Solutions Hub, was invited to share with The University of Hong Kong's speech therapy students how cross-disciplinary collaboration drives the advancement of Care Food šŸ¤šŸ». Interprofessional collaboration integrates expertise from diverse teams—each contributing their specialized knowledge—to create greater synergies through mutual exchange and service coordination ✨.

The HKCSS Care Food initiative has consistently embraced this collaborative approach, working alongside speech therapists, nutritionists, manufacturers, and other professionals to systematically develop key projects, such as drafting the <Guideline of Care Food Standard>, implementing the Care Food Community Meal Box Program. We believe today's sharing provided students with fresh perspectives on Care Food and deepened their understanding of cross-professional practice in healthcare and social services šŸ˜‡.
