Ensuring Quality Meals for Elderly Family Members

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) continues to promote Care Food through cross-sector collaborations and community outreach initiatives. Currently, four distinct types of restaurants have joined the first phase of the "Care Food Incubation Scheme". Additionally, the "Care for You: Care Food Project", developed in partnership with the University of Hong Kong's Swallowing Research Institute and Fairwood Group, is actively progressing. These efforts aim to expand the availability of Care Food options across dining establishments – from dine-in meals to takeaway services – enabling individuals with swallowing difficulties to enjoy nutritious, flavorful meals while sharing quality dining experiences with family and friends.
