Our Care Food Working Group has once again organized a Care Food Workshop this year for students at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Training (Kwai Chung), introducing a new cohort of nutrition program students to Care Food and swallowing difficulties.
The workshop was completed recently. In addition to sharing knowledge about Care Food, we were honored to have our Care Food Star Ambassador — Mr. Johnson Lo, CEO and Head Chef of KOLB LIFE —demonstrate live how to prepare two Care Food dishes of different levels. This hands-on session helped students better understand the distinctions between meal levels and showed them that preparing Care Food is not as challenging as they might have imagined.
We hope the students can integrate the concept of Care Food with their nutrition studies, combining this knowledge to create safe, nutritious, and delicious meals for people with swallowing difficulties!
