Starting this September, the HKCSS Care Food Working Group will launch a series of community events under the theme "Care Food Around You" to raise public awareness about swallowing difficulties and Care Food.

We cordially invite you to our inaugural event—the "Care Food. Community Day"—where you can learn about various Care Food products and services. Here are the details:

Date: September 7, 2024 (Saturday)

Time: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Location: Food Plaza, 1/F, Zone A, Lok Fu Place, 198 Junction Road, Wang Tau Hom, Kowloon

The event features three special sessions to help the public better understand Care Food and swallowing difficulties from different perspectives.

Care Food Cooking Demonstration

Time: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Details: Professional chefs will demonstrate soft meal preparation and share practical Care Food cooking tips.

"Care Food Around You" Launching Ceremony

Time: 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Details: Introduction to district-based Care Food services, along with caregiver testimonials on how Care Food supports individuals with swallowing difficulties.

Registered Dietitian Talk & Care Food Cooking Competition 2024 Workshop

Time: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Details: A registered dietitian will share nutritional insights for swallowing difficulties, covering dietary needs, common nutrition challenges, and improvement strategies.
