[Event Recap - Vegetarian Innovation: Dysphagia-Friendly Care Food Workshop @ Vegetarian Food Asia Expo 2025]

This past Sunday (February 23), HKCSS's Care Food Task Force participated in the cooking demonstration segment at Vegetarian Food Asia Expo 2025. Together with our Care Food Ambassador Johnson, we introduced over 60 attendees to Care Food concepts and swallowing difficulties knowledge, while demonstrating two vegetarian dysphagia-friendly dishes: Korean-inspired tartare and Portuguese-style mixed vegetables.

This marked our first public introduction of vegetarian-focused Care Food. The Task Force will continue participating in various exhibitions to further promote this knowledge to wider audiences.
