"Care Food. Community Day: 'Care Food Around You'" 🥳🎉

On Saturday, September 7, the HKCSS Care Food Working Group hosted the "Care Food. Community Day: 'Care Food Around You'" event. Together with exhibition partners, we showcased comprehensive dietary solutions for swallowing difficulties. The event featured the "Care Food Around You" launching ceremony, corporate partnership dialogues, and Care Food product tasting sessions. We were honored to welcome distinguished guests, including Ms. Yan Lai-ming, Assistant Director of the Social Welfare Department (Elderly Services); Dr. Tik Chi-yuen, Legislative Council Member (Social Welfare Constituency); and Dr. Hon David Lam Tzit-yuen, Legislative Council Member (Medical and Health Services Constituency).

On that day, we demonstrated how to cook Care Food and invited a nutritionist to deliver talks on dietary management for people with swallowing difficulties. Additionally, the public can try various Care Food products, including braised pork with tomato and rice, curry chicken rice, thickened milk tea, fruit purees, and seasonal treats - low-sugar mini lotus seed paste mooncakes with yolk.
