Dish: Stir-fried Flower Petals with Three Kinds of Peppers (Level 6)
Theme: Secret Garden
Ingredients and seasonings:
- Half a head of cauliflower
- 1 broccoli
- 1/4 pumpkin
- 6 corn strips
- 2 slices of dried tofu
- One red, one yellow, and one green (bell pepper)
- One can of canned sardines
Seasonings and sauces:
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
- 2 teaspoons of oyster sauce
- Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- Half a cup of distilled water
Cooking steps:
- Wash all the ingredients.
- Cook the cauliflower and broccoli separately over medium-low heat, bringing water to a boil and then simmering until tender.
- Cut the pumpkin into strips and boil them in water until soft. Then cut them into small pieces.
Note: Add olive oil and sugar before boiling (to keep the broccoli green).
- Add all ingredients separately to the sauce, broccoli, and cauliflower, stir-fry with oyster sauce. Add tofu, corn kernels (strips), crushed sardines, oyster sauce, water, salt, sugar, and turmeric powder, stir-fry until well combined.
