Caregiver Trainee: Chen Jielin

Dish: Timeless Curry Chicken (Aims for Level 7EC)

Food and ingredients:

- 1/2 chicken

- 1/4 taro

- 1/2 carrot

- 1/4 onion

- 4 small tomatoes

- 3 cloves of garlic

- 1 green bell pepper

- 1 shallot

- 1/4 broccoli

- 1.5 potatoes

Seasonings and sauces:

- 1/2 packet of curry sauce

- 1/2 box of coconut milk

- Small amount of sugar

- A small amount of salt

- Water as needed

- A small amount of oil

Cooking method:

1. Wash the chicken, debone it, cut it into small pieces, and dry it.

2. Peel and wash the taro, potatoes, onions, and carrots, cut them into small pieces, and fry them in oil in a wok until fragrant.

3. Prepare a pot of water and cook the broccoli until it is soft.

4. Slice shallots and garlic, sauté them in oil until fragrant, then add chicken pieces and stir-fry until fragrant.

5. Add curry sauce and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

6. Transfer to an earthenware pot, add water, bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for at least 15 minutes until it is ready to be served.

7. Add finely chopped carrots and taro, and simmer until thickened.

8. Add finely chopped onions, tomatoes, green peppers, and potatoes, and mix well for 1 minute.

9. Add broccoli, coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Once the taste is right, turn off the heat and serve.

2. Peel and wash the taro, potatoes, onions, and carrots respectively, cut into fine pieces, and fry in oil until fragrant

3. Prepare a pot of water and cook the broccoli until soft

4. Slice the shallots and garlic, add oil and fry until fragrant, add the chicken pieces and stir-fry until the fragrant

5. Add the curry sauce and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly

6. Turn to clay pot and cook, add water, bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat for at least 15 minutes until cooked through

7. Add finely chopped carrots and taro and simmer until soaked

8. Add finely chopped onions, tomatoes, green peppers, and potatoes and mix well for 1 minute

9. Add broccoli, coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Once the taste is right, turn off the heat and serve
